Now That’s What I Call Music! (often shortened to Now!) is a series of various artists compilation albums released in the United Kingdom and Ireland by Sony Music and Universal Music (Universal/Sony Music) which began in 1983.

The history of the Now! brand began in September 1983, with the release of Now That’s What I Call Music!, a triple-LP set that contained contemporary hits from artists including Duran Duran, Kenny Loggins, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, and more. The album was an instant success, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart within weeks of its release.

Now That’s What I Call Music! quickly became popular in other countries around the world; the first international edition of the series was released in Norway in 1984.
